William A. Lewis (born on April 18, 1971), known professionally as Spliff Star, is an American rapper and music producer. He comes from Flatbush in Brooklyn, New York. He is most famous for his work with the well-known rapper Busta Rhymes.
Spliff Star is also recognized as one of the best hype men in hip hop music. A hype man is someone who helps a main rapper get the crowd excited during a performance. Both Vibe and Complex magazines have praised him for this role.
He used to be a member of a music group called the Flipmode Squad. In 2007, he started his own record label, PaperRock Records. The next year, in 2008, he released his first solo music project. Spliff Star has three children named Elijah, Leilani, and Brooklyn.
