Basketball's Journey at the Arena

For a while, the Hull Wasps basketball team called the Sports Arena home. They played in the NBL Division 4 league. However, before the 2012–13 season, the Wasps moved to the Ennerdale Leisure Centre.

Later, basketball made a comeback to the arena. The 2013–14 season saw the Kingston Panthers team play their home games there. This brought exciting NBL basketball back to the Sports Arena.

Inside the Main Hall

The main hall of the Sports Arena is quite large. It measures 54 meters (about 177 feet) long. It is also 33 meters (about 108 feet) wide. The ceiling is 9 meters (about 30 feet) high. This makes it perfect for many sports.

Fun Facts About the Arena

The venue is also used for exciting wrestling shows. A well-known wrestling group called New Generation Wrestling often performs here. This adds another type of entertainment to the arena's busy schedule.
