The St. Anne Chapel (also known as Chapelle Saint-Anne d'Inagoj in French) is a Catholic church. It is also called the Church of St. Anne or Inagod Chapel. You can find it in the town of Inagod, which is part of Lifou Island. Lifou is one of the Loyalty Islands in New Caledonia, a territory of France located in Oceania.

Where is St. Anne Chapel?

This chapel is located in the Losi district of Inagod. You can reach it by following the RM1 road. It sits about 10 meters (around 33 feet) above sea level.

Records from J. B. P. Fabre show that the chapel was built in 1866. It was made using materials like plaster. The local tribe helped build this church for a reverend. At the same time, a small house was also built about 5 meters (around 16 feet) away from the chapel, to its southwest.

What is the Chapel Used For?

The St. Anne Chapel is mainly used for Catholic religious services. A newer chapel was built following an octagonal (eight-sided) design. This design is based on older styles of Christian architecture.
