St. Florian is a small town in Lauderdale County, Alabama, in the United States. It is part of a larger area known as "The Shoals", which includes the cities of Florence and Muscle Shoals. In 2010, the town had a population of 413 people. By 2020, this number grew to 584 residents.

History of St. Florian
The area where St. Florian now stands was first called Wilson Stand. This name came from John and Matthew Wilson, who were the first owners of the land.
The town as we know it today was started in the 1870s. A group of German settlers moved there and decided to name their new home after Saint Florian. A post office opened in St. Florian in 1879, but it closed down in 1904. The town officially became an incorporated town sometime in the 1970s.
