About St. Just
St. Just is one of the areas that make up the municipality of Trujillo Alto. It was officially created in 1990. This makes it one of the more recent neighborhoods in the region.
How St. Just Got Its Name
The name St. Just comes from a Spanish army captain. His name was Federico Saint Just. In 1818, he was given a large piece of land. This land was part of another neighborhood called Cuevas. The land was granted to him by a special order from the king.

The population of St. Just has been counted in the U.S. Census. In the year 2000, there were 12,572 people living there. By 2010, the population had grown to 14,635 people.
