History of St Hugh's Church
When Was the Church Built?
St Hugh's Church first opened its doors on November 17, 1888. The Chancel, which is the part of the church where the altar is, was added soon after, on December 17 of the same year. The front entrance area, called the vestibule, was built a bit later.
