History of the Church
How Old is St Laurence's?
The oldest parts of St Laurence's Church were built a very long time ago, in the 1300s. That's the 14th century! Later, in the late 1400s, the church was changed and made bigger.

Between 1884 and 1889, the church had a big makeover. This was called a "Victorian restoration." During this time, old buildings were often repaired and updated to look their best.
