St Ninian and St Triduana's Church in Edinburgh is a Catholic church. You can find it in the Restalrig area of Edinburgh, Scotland.

History of the Church

The very first church building here was made of wood. It was set up in 1906.

The building you see today started being built in 1932. It was officially dedicated as a holy place on May 28, 1933.

The church is named after two old Scottish saints: Ninian and Triduana.

In the 1990s, the church was updated. Part of the main area of the church was changed. This created a hall for meetings and other activities.

A famous architect named Sir Giles Gilbert Scott designed the building. His full plan for the church was not finished. This was because World War II began.

The church is also a Category B listed building. This means it is an important building. It is protected because of its special history or architecture.

How the Church is Organised

Since 2017, the local church communities, called parishes, in Edinburgh have been grouped together. These groups are called clusters. This helps them work better together and share their resources.

Ss Ninian and Triduana's Church is part of Cluster 1. There are four parishes in this group. The others are St Mary's Cathedral, St Patrick's, and St Albert's.
