St Peter's Church is a very old church located in a small place called Satterleigh in Devon, England. It was built a long time ago, in the 15th century! That means it's over 500 years old.
This special church is listed as a Grade I listed building on the National Heritage List for England. This means it's considered a really important historical building that needs to be protected. St Peter's Church is now looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust. This group helps to save old churches that are no longer used for regular services, making sure they stay safe for future generations to visit and learn from. The Trust officially took care of the church on March 19, 1996.

Church Design and Features

The chancel, which is the area around the altar at the east end of the church, was rebuilt in 1852. This was part of a bigger project called a Victorian restoration. During the Victorian era (when Queen Victoria was in charge), many old churches were repaired and updated to look their best.
