Saint Saviour's Church is a special building in the village of Branston, England. It's a Church of England church, which means it's part of the main Christian church in England. The church is located south of Burton upon Trent. It belongs to the Diocese of Lichfield, which is like a local area for churches.

This church was built a long time ago in 1864. A person named Vincent Cook, who was an architect (someone who designs buildings), created its plans.

About the Church Building

When it was first built, Saint Saviour's was a simple, single room. It had a small tower for bells, called a bell turret, at its west end. Inside, there's a special room for the organ, called an organ chamber. There's also a vestry, which is a room where clergy (church leaders) get ready.

A beautiful stone reredos (a decorated screen behind the altar) was added. This was put there to remember the first vicar (the priest in charge of the church), John Bramell. He served the church from 1871 to 1897.

Changes Over Time

In 1981, a new porch was built at the south side of the church. A porch is like a covered entrance. This new one replaced an older one. At the same time, a meeting room was added to the front of the building. This room is used for church groups and activities.

Later, in 1993, some amazing stained glass windows were brought to Saint Saviour's. These colorful windows came from another church, St James' Church, Derby, and were placed in the east window of Saint Saviour's.

The Vicarage

The original house for the vicar, called the vicarage, was located near the church. Today, this old vicarage is no longer a home for the vicar. It has been turned into a popular restaurant. A new vicarage was built behind the church in 1985. This is where the current vicar lives.
