Stacie Anaka is a talented Canadian wrestler. She is from Coquitlam, British Columbia. Stacie competes in the 67 kilogram weight class. She also helps coach women's wrestling at Simon Fraser University. In 2007, she won the Tom Longboat Award. This award celebrates great contributions to sports by Indigenous athletes.

Early Life and Education
Stacie started wrestling in high school. She attended Reynolds Secondary School. She then went to Simon Fraser University with a special scholarship for wrestling. Stacie studied health sciences there. While at university, she became a national wrestling champion. She won titles in 2007, 2008, and 2010.

Competing in International Games
In July 2013, Stacie competed in the Universiade Games. These games are like a mini-Olympics for university athletes. She won a bronze medal, beating Natalya Palamarchuk from Azerbaijan 3-1.
A few months later, Stacie took part in the 2013 World Wrestling Championships. She had an amazing performance. Stacie won against wrestlers from Mongolia, Azerbaijan, and China. She reached the gold medal match. There, she faced Alina Stadnik-Makhynia from Ukraine. Stacie earned a silver medal for Canada.

University and Community Awards
Stacie Anaka was recognized for her achievements at Simon Fraser University in 2005. In 2007, she won a special award from the Pacific National Exhibition. This award was for her sports success and her leadership. She showed great leadership in the First Nations community. Stacie taught elementary students about wrestling. She also encouraged them to be active.
Athlete of the Year
In 2014, Stacie received another big award. She was named the female senior athlete of the year. This award was given at the Sport B.C. Athlete of the Year Banquet in Vancouver.
Hall of Fame Induction
