Stantonsburg is a small town located in Wilson County, North Carolina, in the United States. It was named after James Stanton V. In 2020, about 762 people lived there.

Town History
Stantonsburg has some interesting old buildings. Three of these historic homes are very special. They are the W. H. Applewhite House, the Edmondson-Woodward House, and the Ward-Applewhite-Thompson House. These houses were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. This list helps protect important places in the United States.
