The Star Hill AME Church, also known as the Star of the East Church, is a very old church building. It is located near Camden, Delaware in Kent County, Delaware. This church is part of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) faith. It also has a cemetery next to it.
The church was built around 1866. It is a one-story building with a special roof shape called a gable roof. The building looks like a simple version of the Gothic Revival style. It has a small bell tower on top of the roof. People believe that burials in the cemetery started when the church was founded in the 1860s. However, the oldest marked grave is from the early 1890s.
