Star Hill AME Church, also known as Star of the East Church, is a very old and important church building. It is located near Camden, Delaware in Kent County, Delaware. This church is part of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) faith. It also has a cemetery next to it.
The church was built around 1866. It is a one-story building with a special roof shape called a gable roof. The church looks like a style called Gothic Revival. It has a small bell tower on top of the roof. People believe that burials in the cemetery started when the church was founded in the 1860s. The oldest marked grave is from the early 1890s.
