Stargate Infinity (also called SGI or Infinity) is an animated science fiction TV show. It was made in France and the United States. The show aired from 2002 to 2003. It was part of the famous Stargate universe. However, the people who made the main Stargate movies and shows do not consider Infinity to be an official part of the story.
The cartoon is about a character named Gus Bonner. He is wrongly blamed for letting alien enemies through the Stargate. This happens in the future at Stargate Command (SGC). Gus escapes with a group of new recruits. They travel through the Stargate. The team cannot go back to Earth until they prove they are innocent. The show was canceled before the team could clear their names. So, the story never finished. As they travel, the team meets many different alien races on other planets.

About the Stargate Infinity Series
This animated series was created by Eric Lewald and Michael Maliani. It was a spin-off from the popular show Stargate SG-1. The main producers were Andy Heyward and Michael Maliani. Will Meugniot was the main director for the show.
The people who wrote and produced Stargate SG-1 were not involved with Stargate Infinity. Because of this, most Stargate fans and the creators do not see Infinity as an official part of the Stargate universe. One of the Stargate SG-1 creators, Brad Wright, said he had no problem with it, but he wasn't involved. The show also often included a small lesson or moral at the end of each episode.
Meet the Stargate Infinity Characters
Stargate Infinity takes place 30 years in the future. It follows Gus Bonner and his special team. Gus's team forms after he is wrongly accused of a crime. He escapes from Stargate Command (SGC). This happens when the Tlak'kahn, a hostile alien race, attacks the SGC. They want to steal a mysterious alien chrysalis found in Egypt. Gus and his team escape through the Stargate with the chrysalis.
From then on, they travel from planet to planet. They search for proof to clear their names. They also learn about the unique cultures in the galaxy. Their goal is to return to Earth one day. Sadly, the story was never finished. The show was canceled in 2003 because not enough people watched it.
- Gus Bonner (voiced by Dale Wilson) – Gus is a former soldier from a Stargate team. He was wrongly accused of disobeying orders. He escaped and now leads a team of young people through the Stargate. They want to clear his name.
- Stacey Bonner (Tifanie Christun) – Stacey is Gus Bonner's niece. She is a new recruit at the SGC. She was there when the Tlak'kahn attacked. At first, she thinks Gus is a traitor. She often argues with him, even though he says he's innocent.
- Seattle Montoya (Bettina Bush) – Seattle is a Native American character. She has special visions that help the team avoid danger. She also has a mind link with Draga. She can feel when Draga is moved or in trouble. She escaped with the others during the attack.
- R.J. Harrison (Mark Hildreth) – R.J. is a sarcastic young man. He recently finished the academy and is part of Gus's team. He escapes through the Stargate with the chrysalis to keep it safe. He often flirts and adds humor to the show.
- Draga (Kathleen Barr) – Draga is a newborn alien. She comes out of the chrysalis. People believe she might be an Ancient, a very old and powerful being. She is born in the first episode. She has strange, possibly unlimited powers that she can't control well. Draga is very curious and kind. She often acts like a child, but she grows up during the series.
- Ec'co (Cusse Mankuma) – Ec'co is a friendly half-alien and a cadet at the SGC. He is very good at fixing things using whatever he finds. He joins the others to protect the chrysalis.
- Da'Kyll (Mark Acheson) – Da'Kyll is a violent alien commander. He leads the Tlak'kahn. He works with a shapeshifter named Nephestis. They capture alien creatures for unknown reasons.
- Pahk'kal (Mackenzie Gray) – Pahk'kal is a Tlak'kahn warrior. He works for Da'Kyll.
