Station 28 of the Minneapolis Fire Department is an old fire station building in the Linden Hills area of Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was built in 1914. At that time, Minneapolis was growing very fast. The Linden Hills neighborhood was changing from a quiet lakeside area to a busy part of the city. Other buildings like Lake Harriet Public School (1898) and Linden Hills Community Library (1911) were also built around this time.

This fire station was special because it was one of the last stations the city built. It was also the first one made just for fire trucks that used engines, not horses. Older stations needed more space for horses and their care. Motorized fire engines were cheaper and faster. They could cover more ground and respond to emergencies quicker.

The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. This means it's an important historical site. Today, the old Station 28 building is used for offices. The actual Fire Station 28 is now in a different building at 2810 West 50th Street.

The ground floor of the old building has been used as a restaurant. Currently, it is home to the Harriet Brasserie.
