Steamboat (in Navajo: Navajo: Hóyééʼ) is a small community located in Apache County, Arizona, United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area identified by the U.S. Census Bureau for collecting statistics, but it is not an officially incorporated town or city. The community includes areas like Steamboat Canyon and Steamboat Trading Post. In 2020, about 235 people lived there.
Geography
Steamboat is found in the northeastern part of Arizona. It sits on a large area called the Colorado Plateau. This plateau is known for its natural resources. These resources include things like coal, uranium, petroleum, and natural gas. Steamboat is located right along Arizona State Route 264.
