Stephanie Corneliussen is a Danish actress and model. She is most famous for playing Joanna Wellick in the TV show Mr. Robot.

Early Life and Education

Stephanie Corneliussen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a child, she went to Johannesskolen in Frederiksberg. She also studied ballet in Copenhagen. Later, she earned a degree in graphic design.

When she was 13 years old, Stephanie was discovered by a modeling agency. She was encouraged to join the Supermodel of Scandinavia contest. She won the contest and started her international modeling career.

While working as a model, she began studying in the United Kingdom in 2007. In 2011, she moved to Los Angeles, USA.

Stephanie has appeared in many advertisements and commercials. She has worked for popular brands like bebe, Armani, Dasani, Lexus, and Nikon. As of 2016, a company called PCM International represents her for modeling.

Acting Roles

Stephanie Corneliussen has appeared in several TV shows. She had guest roles in the medical drama Royal Pains and the comedy shows Bad Judge and The Exes. In 2012, she was in the music video for "She's So Mean" by the band Matchbox Twenty.

For the scary TV show American Horror Story, Stephanie played the "White Nun". This character was the main face for the second season, called Asylum. In 2013, she was in the movie Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. The next year, she played Tatiana in the TV movie Hello Ladies for HBO.

In 2015, Stephanie got a recurring role in the TV series Mr. Robot. She played the character Joanna Wellick. The first episode aired on May 27, 2015. The show became very popular and won many awards. It even won a Golden Globe Award in 2015 for Best Television Series – Drama. Mr. Robot was renewed for a second season.

In September 2015, it was announced that Stephanie would play Valentina Vostok in DC's Legends of Tomorrow. This show is a spin-off from Arrow and The Flash. In March 2016, she became a main cast member on Mr. Robot.

In 2018, she was cast as a mysterious villain in the TV series Deception. In 2019, she appeared as Gabrielle Haller in the show Legion.
