Stephenson is a town located in Marinette County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In the year 2000, about 3,065 people lived there.

A Look Back: Stephenson's History

The town of Stephenson was first set up in 1897. It was originally called Crivitz. In 1905, its name was changed to Stephenson.

The town is named after Isaac Stephenson. He was a politician who served in the United States Congress. He represented Wisconsin from 1883 to 1889. Later, he became a US Senator for Wisconsin from 1907 to 1915.
