Stewart's Fountain Classics is a popular American brand of soft drinks. These drinks are known for their "old-fashioned" taste, like sodas you might have found at a classic soda fountain. The brand started in 1924 with Stewart's Restaurants, which were root beer stands. Frank Stewart opened the first one in Mansfield, Ohio.

A Sip of History

The Stewart's brand has a long and interesting history. In 1990, a company called Cable Car Beverage Corporation bought the rights to bottle Stewart's drinks. They started adding new flavors. In 1992, they introduced Cream Soda and Ginger Beer. Over the years, even more flavors have been added to the lineup.

In 1997, Triarc purchased Cable Car Beverage Corporation. Then, in 2000, a big company called Cadbury Schweppes PLC bought the Stewart's brands. They also bought other well-known brands like Snapple and Mistic at the same time. Today, Stewart's is part of Keurig Dr Pepper.

Award-Winning Taste

Stewart's Root Beer is not just old-fashioned; it's also award-winning! In 2006, it was named the top root beer at the World Cup of Root Beer. This shows how much people enjoy its unique flavor.

What's in the Bottle?

Stewart's drinks come in glass bottles that hold 12 fl. oz. (which is about 355 ml). These bottles have twist-off tops, making them easy to open. Some flavors come in amber-tinted bottles, while others are in clear glass.
