Stickin' Around is a fun Canadian cartoon show. It was made by Nelvana and first aired from 1996 to 1998.
The show started as short, one-minute clips on CBS in 1994. It's all about two best friends, Stacy and Bradley. They have amazing hand-drawn adventures with their friends and family. They also have lots of wild fantasies!
Stacy and Bradley face many common problems as they grow up. These include school, bullies, friends, and parents. They always come up with creative ways to solve these issues. For example, they might imagine themselves as superheroes. Or they might picture themselves in a different world where they easily beat their enemies.
Nelvana, the company that made the show, said it used special computer graphics. These graphics made it look like kids drew the cartoon themselves. Stickin' Around won a Gemini Award in 1998. It won for "Best Animated Program or Series." It was also nominated for the same award later that year.

Main Characters in Stickin' Around
This show has many memorable characters. Here are some of the most important ones:
- Stacy Stickler: She is one of the main characters. Stacy is an 8-year-old girl. She is usually quiet but can be bossy. She loves to imagine things with Bradley. Stacy often says, "For your big fat information" and "Real mature, Bradley." She often helps Bradley be more sensible when he gets too silly.
- Bradley: He is Stacy's 9-year-old best friend and the other main character. Bradley wears thick black glasses and a red cap turned backward. He loves to imagine himself as a superhero, secret agent, or even a robot. Some of his fantasy names are Rubber Guy, Cap Crusader, and 00 Bradley. His favorite fantasy is that "Aliens from Uranus" are causing their problems. Stacy usually finds this idea annoying.
- Frank: This is Stacy's pet wiener dog. He is a bit overweight and loves to eat. Frank sometimes joins Stacy and Bradley on their adventures. He often thinks everything is food because he's always hungry. He is very lazy and doesn't like to exercise much.
- Lester: Bradley's pet chameleon. Lester can blend into the background. He often causes a lot of mischief.
- Lance: He is a bully at school. Lance loves to pick on everyone, especially Bradley. He calls Bradley "Scradley."
- Russell: Lance's best friend and sidekick. Russell is not very smart. He also has a really bad smell around him. When people say, "Whoa Man! What's that funky smell?", Russell always asks, "What?" He often repeats what Lance says. He usually says, "Yeah……" followed by Lance's words or something similar. Surprisingly, he does well in class.
- Polly: Lance's friendly and smart little half-sister. She always shares wise words. Polly is often seen walking her pet poodle, Pepperoni. She believes Pepperoni is alive, even though it's not. She really hates being called a baby.
- Dill: A friend of Stacy and Bradley. Dill has a very loud voice. He often shouts, "HOLY MACKEREL!"
- Stella Stickler: She is Stacy's mom. Stella is caring but can also be hotheaded. She loves fashion and works hard. She sometimes gets annoyed by Stacy and Bradley. Stella is married to Stanley, Stacy's dad. She gets very annoyed when Stanley tries to "fix" things.
- Stanley Stickler: Stacy's dad. He is very ambitious. His inventions often go wrong, and he's not good at cooking. A funny thing about him is that he's always trying to fix appliances. In one episode, it's mentioned he lives in "his own place" in the same apartment building. He is married to Stella, Stacy's mom. He also seems to forget things easily. In one episode, he keeps thinking his family has a lawn, but it's actually green gravel. He still doesn't get it, even in later seasons!
- Ms. Mobley: Stacy and Bradley's teacher. She is cheerful but a bit crazy. She often says, "Won't that be fun?"
- Principal Coffin: The school principal. He looks scary, like a zombie or a vampire. He speaks in a slow, spooky voice.
- Mr. Lederhosen: Stacy and Bradley's P.E. (Physical Education) teacher. He is tough and acts like an army sergeant.
- Mr. Doddler: An older man who wears a fez hat with a crescent moon. He used to be a farmer. He often grows the ingredients for the kids' favorite snack, Cheez Poopers. Stacy usually calls him "Mr. D."
- William: A chubby boy who loves to eat.
- Melody: Stacy and Bradley's classmate. She wears glasses and uses a wheelchair. Sometimes, she teams up with Stacy against Bradley and Dill.
- Ashley: Stacy's rival. She is the richest girl in school. Ashley always wears a beret. She often acts like a snob and a spoiled kid.
- Mrs. Salazar: A kind neighbor of Stacy and Bradley. She speaks Spanish.
- Pickle: Dill's pet parrot. His name is a funny play on "Dill Pickle."
- Scooter: William's pet hamster.
- Freddy: Melody's pet maggot.
- Pepperoni: Polly's pet dog. As mentioned, Polly believes Pepperoni is alive, even though it's not. Polly is usually seen pulling Pepperoni around by its leash.
