Raul-Stig Rästa (born on February 24, 1980) is a well-known Estonian singer and songwriter. He became famous when he and singer Elina Born represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Their song was called "Goodbye to Yesterday".

Stig Rästa's Music Career
Stig Rästa has been involved in music since 2002. He has been a part of several bands and projects.
Early Bands and Projects
Between 2002 and 2006, Stig was in a band called Slobodan River. He formed it with Ithaka Maria and Tomi Rahula. Since 2006, he has been a member of the band Traffic. He also joined another band, Outloudz, in 2010.
In 2011, Stig showed off his dancing skills on the TV show Let's Dance. He and his partner, Karina Vesman, finished in fourth place. In 2012, Stig played the character Moritz in the Estonian version of the musical Spring Awakening. He is also part of an electronic music duo called Kisma with Vallo Kikas.
Stig Rästa and Eurovision
Stig Rästa has tried many times to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest. He first competed with Slobodan River in 2003 and 2004. Later, he tried with Traffic in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, and 2020. With Outloudz, he came in second place in 2011.
Representing Estonia in 2015
In 2015, Stig Rästa entered Eesti Laul 2015 with the song "Goodbye to Yesterday". This was a duet with Elina Born. Their song won its semi-final and then the final. They won by a lot, getting 79% of the public votes. At the main Eurovision contest, they made it to the Grand Final. They finished in 7th place with 106 points.
Writing Songs for Other Artists
Stig has also written songs for other artists who competed at Eurovision.
- He co-wrote "Play" for Jüri Pootsmann. This song represented Estonia in 2016.
- He wrote "In or Out" for Elina Born in Eesti Laul 2017.
- He also wrote "Enough" for Elina Born's first Eesti Laul in 2013.

Stig also competed by himself in Eesti Laul 2018 with his song "Home". He finished in second place. In Eesti Laul 2022, he performed "Interstellar" and finished 9th.
Stig Rästa's Personal Life
In 2023, Stig Rästa ran for a position in the 2023 Estonian parliamentary election. He was a candidate for the Estonia 200 party. However, he was not elected to the Parliament.
