The Stony Creek–Thimble Islands Historic District is a historic district in Branford, Connecticut that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1988.

The 1,400-acre (5.7 km2) area of the district includes part of the Stony Creek mainland area of Branford, along Thimble Islands Rd. between Rt. 146 and Long Island Sound, and includes all of the Thimble Islands. This area includes a remarkable concentration of Stick style residences, as well as a significant collection of historic island resort properties on the Thimble Islands. The village of Stony Creek was developed in the late 19th century as a summer resort area, and is also notable for the presence of several former granite quarries and their associated worker housing.

It includes the Stick Style House at Stony Creek at 34 Prospect Hill, which is separately listed on the National Register. The house, which was built in 1878, was designed by Henry Austin.
