Where Did Storm Keating Grow Up?
Storm Keating was born Sharyn Storm Uechtritz in Childers, Queensland, Australia, on October 27, 1981. Her parents, Gordon Charles Uechtritz and Debra Lynn (also known as Sharni Ra'harni), gave her the name "Storm" because they liked it from a novel by Wilbur Smith. They added "Sharyn" to her name just in case she might be teased for having an unusual first name later in life.
Storm spent her early childhood in a small village in Papua New Guinea. In 1988, when she was about seven years old, her family moved to a cattle farm in Australia. She has three older brothers.
