This tour is the second-highest level for men's golf in the U.S. He was one of the first players to win his very first Web.com Tour event.
By finishing fifth on the money list that season, he earned a spot to play on the PGA Tour the next year. Stuart Appleby has won nine times on the PGA Tour. He was also part of the International Team for the Presidents Cup five times. In 2004, he was ranked among the top ten golfers in the world.

In 2010, Stuart Appleby made history at the first Greenbrier Classic tournament. He shot a score of 59 in the final round, becoming only the fifth player ever to do so in a PGA Tour event. That same year, he received the PGA Tour Comeback Player of the Year award.
Recent Years in Golf
In 2015, Stuart Appleby had back surgery in March, which limited his playing time. He played in a Web.com Tour event for the first time in 20 years. He tried to get his PGA Tour card back through the Web.com Tour Finals. However, a hurricane caused the final tournament to be canceled. This meant he finished just outside the top 25 players who earned their cards. He continued to play with limited status in 2016 and 2017. Since then, he has played on the PGA Tour Champions.
