Tenina Stevens (born December 21, 1971), known as Suga-T, is an American rapper. She comes from Vallejo, California. Suga-T helped start a rap group called The Click. Her brothers, E-40 and D-Shot, and her cousin, B-Legit, are also in the group.
The Click released their first album, Down and Dirty, in 1992. It came out through E-40's company, Sick Wid It Records. After this, each member made their own music. Suga-T's first solo album, It's All Good, was released in 1993.
In 1995, Sick Wid It Records teamed up with a bigger company, Jive Records. Suga-T then appeared on The Click's second album, Game Related, in 1995. She also released her own album, Paper Chasin', with Jive Records. This album was very popular and appeared on the Billboard music charts.
Suga-T sings many types of music. She also writes songs and produces TV shows and music. Today, Suga-T performs and writes books. She also helps people reach their goals as a "vision partner coach." She started her own companies, Sprinkle Me Enterprise and Sprinkle Me School of Music and Vision. At one point, she took a break from music to go to college. She earned degrees in Business, Psychology, and Organizational Management. She used this knowledge to help herself and others grow their careers.
