Susan Cachel (born in 1949) is an American anthropologist and paleontologist. She is also a researcher who studies how primates have changed over time.
In 2009, she was recognized for her important work. She became a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. This award honors scientists who have made great contributions to their field.
Learning and Career
Susan Cachel studied at the University of Chicago. She earned her first degree (B.A.) in 1970. She then received her master's degree (M.A.) in 1971.
Her highest degree, a Ph.D., was completed in 1976. Her main project for her Ph.D. was about the early development of primates. Since 1977, she has been a professor at Rutgers University.
