Suwannoochee Creek is a stream in the state of Georgia, United States. It is about 49 miles (79 kilometers) long. This creek is a branch, or tributary, of the larger Suwannee River.
The creek starts in western Clinch County, Georgia. This is about 11 miles (18 kilometers) west of a town called Homerville. From there, Suwannoochee Creek flows towards the southeast. It eventually joins the Suwannee River near Fargo.
For about half of its journey, Suwannoochee Creek forms a natural border. It separates Clinch County from Echols County. This makes it an important landmark for these two areas.
