TV Mayhem was a fun British TV show for kids. It aired on Saturday mornings for a short time in 1991. The show was on the TV-am channel. It took the place of another show called Hey Hey It's Saturday after that show ended.

Why Did TV Mayhem End?

Neither Hey Hey It's Saturday nor TV Mayhem became as popular as earlier shows. These included Wide Awake Club or WAC '90. Still, many people who watched TV Mayhem remember it fondly.
After TV Mayhem finished, TV-am started a new Saturday morning block. It was called Cartoon World. As the name suggests, this new block only showed cartoons. Cartoon World ran from November 1991 until TV-am stopped broadcasting in December 1992.
