Tadashi Takeda (竹田 忠嗣, born 27 July 1986) is a Japanese professional football player. He plays as a defender for FC Gifu in the J3 League. He often plays as a defensive midfielder.

Tadashi Takeda was born in Penang, Malaysia. His parents were Japanese. When he was two years old, he moved back to Japan with his family. He grew up in the Greater Tokyo Area.
His Early Life and School
Tadashi went to Yasumatsu Elementary School. This school is in Tokorozawa, Saitama. After elementary school, he attended Utase Junior High School in Chiba.
In 1999, he joined the youth system of JEF United Chiba. He first played for JEF United Ichihara Junior Youth Maihama (U-15). Later, he moved up to the JEF United Ichihara Youth team (U-19). While playing football, he also studied at Tokyo Gakkan Urayasu High School. He also attended Keio University. Both schools are in Tokyo.
