Takayuki Komine (小峯 隆幸, Komine Takayuki, born April 25, 1974) is a Japanese former football player. He played as a defender during his career.
Takayuki Komine's Football Journey
Takayuki Komine was born in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama on April 25, 1974. After finishing his studies at Juntendo University, he began his professional football career.
In 1998, he joined a club called Tokyo Gas, which later became known as FC Tokyo. During his first year, he played many games as a central defender, working alongside another player named Sandro.
However, after 2002, he started to play less often for FC Tokyo. In August 2003, he moved to another team, Vegalta Sendai, where he got to play more games.
In 2004, Komine joined Kashiwa Reysol, but he didn't get much playing time there. The next year, in 2005, he moved to Tokushima Vortis, a team in the J2 League. Here, he became a regular central defender again, which was his main role for the first time in four years.
His journey continued in 2006 when he joined FC Gifu. He played many matches for this club over three seasons. During his time there, FC Gifu achieved great success. The team was promoted to the Japan Football League in 2007 and then to the J2 League in 2008. Takayuki Komine decided to retire from playing football at the end of the 2008 season.
