Takeshi Koshida (born October 19, 1960) is a Japanese football expert. He used to be a professional football player. Today, he works as a technical director for the Vietnam national football team and the Vietnam women's national football team. This means he helps train and guide the teams.

Playing for Clubs
Koshida was born in Kanazawa, Japan. After finishing his studies at University of Tsukuba, he joined a football club called Nissan Motors in 1983.
Winning Trophies
While playing for Nissan Motors, Koshida helped his team win some big competitions:
- They won the Emperor's Cup in 1983.
- They won the Emperor's Cup again in 1985.
- In the 1988-89 season, his team won the JSL Cup and the Emperor's Cup.
Koshida left Nissan Motors in 1989. In 1990, he went back to his hometown. He joined a local club called Kanazawa SC. He played there until he stopped playing football professionally in 1996.

Takeshi Koshida also played for his country, Japan.
Youth Team Experience
In August 1979, when he was still a university student, Koshida was chosen to play for the Japan U-20 national team. He played in three matches at the 1979 World Youth Championship. This was a big tournament for young players from all over the world.
Senior National Team
In December 1980, Koshida was selected for the main Japan national team. His first game was on December 22 against Singapore. This was part of the games to qualify for the 1982 World Cup.
He also played in other important matches for Japan:
- The 1982 Asian Games.
- Games to qualify for the 1984 Summer Olympics.
- Games to qualify for the 1986 World Cup.
Koshida played a total of 19 games for the Japan national team until 1985.
Working as a Director
After his playing career, Takeshi Koshida continued to work in football.
Technical Director Roles
- From 2006 to 2010, he was a technical director for Zweigen Kanazawa, the same club he played for earlier.
- From 2010 to 2023, he worked as a sporting director at Hokuriku University.
- Since 2023, he has been the technical director for both the Vietnam national football team and the Vietnam women's national football team. In this role, he helps with training plans and player development.
