Takeshi Oki (大木 武, Ōki Takeshi, born July 16, 1961) is a well-known Japanese football player and coach. He used to play as a midfielder. Today, he is the manager of the football team Roasso Kumamoto.

Takeshi Oki's Playing Days
Takeshi Oki was born in Shizuoka, Japan, on July 16, 1961. After finishing his studies at Tokyo University of Agriculture, he started his football career. He played for a team called Fujitsu. He was a player there for seven years, from 1984 to 1991.
Takeshi Oki: From Player to Coach
After his time as a player, Takeshi Oki became a football coach.
- In 1993, he started coaching at Shimizu S-Pulse.
- He became a main manager for the first time in 2002 at Ventforet Kofu.
- In 2003, he went back to manage Shimizu S-Pulse.
- In 2004, he coached the youth team at Kawasaki Frontale. This helped young players develop their skills.
- From 2005 to 2007, he managed Ventforet Kofu again.
- After that, he became an assistant coach for the Japan national team. He worked with manager Takeshi Okada until the 2010 World Cup.
- In 2011, he became the manager of Kyoto Sanga FC and stayed there until 2013.
- He then managed FC Gifu from 2017. He left the team in June 2019.
- On December 12, 2019, it was announced that Oki would become the manager of Roasso Kumamoto. This team plays in the J3 League.
- Under his leadership, Roasso Kumamoto finished 8th in the J3 League in 2020.
- In 2021, they earned a promotion to the J2 League. This meant the team returned to a higher league after being moved down in 2018.
- In the 2022 season, the team achieved their highest-ever finish, coming in 4th place.
