Tamara Podemski (born October 16, 1977) is a talented Canadian actress and writer. She is well-known for her role as Alison Trent in the TV series Coroner. For this role, she won a special award called the Canadian Screen Award in 2021.

Tamara grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She went to a special school for performing arts called Claude Watson School.

Her family background is very interesting! Her father is from Kfar Saba, Israel. Her mother is Anishinaabe from the Muscowpetung First Nation in Saskatchewan. Tamara's grandparents on her father's side moved to Canada after World War II.

Tamara has two sisters, Jennifer Podemski and Sarah Podemski, who are also actors. All three sisters have even appeared together in the TV series Reservation Dogs.

Tamara's Acting Career

Tamara Podemski has had a successful career in both movies and television. She has been acting since 1994.

In 2020, she was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for her writing work on the documentary series Future History, which was created by her sister.

She also received a special jury award at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival for her acting in the movie Four Sheets to the Wind. She was also nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female for the same film in 2007.
