Tamotsu Asakura (朝倉 保, Asakura Tamotsu) was a Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder and was a member of the Japanese national team.

Playing for Japan

Tamotsu Asakura was chosen to play for the Japanese national team in August 1927. At the time, he was a student at Waseda University.

He joined the team for the 1927 Far Eastern Championship Games. These games took place in Shanghai.

On August 27, he played his first game for Japan. This match was against the Republic of China. Just two days later, on August 29, he played another game. This time, Japan played against the Philippines.
