Her first big solo show in a museum was called Cinco variaciones sobre circunstancias fónicas y una pausa. This show happened in Mexico City in 2012.

Tania Candiani's art was chosen for the Mexican Pavilion at the 2015 Venice Biennale. This is a very important art event that happens every two years. In 2019, she showed her work Reverencia at the "Platform" section of the Armory Show. This is another major art fair.

In 2010, Tania was an artist in residence at the International Studio & Curatorial Program. This program helps artists from different countries. For the Animals

In 2022, Tania Candiani had a solo art show called Tania Candiani: For the Animals. It was at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver in Colorado. For two years, Tania studied a natural rock formation in Arizona called Hole in the Rock. Her art show was inspired by this place.

Waterbirds: Migratory Sound Flow

Her exhibition Waterbirds: Migratory Sound Flow was shown at Locust Project in Miami. This art project uses sounds from nature and water. It focuses on the sounds of water in Mexico and South Florida. This art was first created for the 23rd Biennale of Sydney in Australia.

Pulso and Other Works

In 2024, the Pérez Art Museum Miami opened Tania Candiani: Pulso. This show features her three-channel video art piece called Pulse (2016-2018). This artwork shows nearly 200 women playing the teponaztli, which is an old instrument from Mexico. The film celebrates the culture of indigenous people and the strong connections between women. It also explores spiritual ideas about land.

Another of her works, Monumentos Efímiros (2019), is being shown as part of For The Days That Build Us (2024-2025). This is a video streaming project by PAMMTV at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Her video is shown alongside works by other famous artists.

Art in Collections

Tania Candiani's three-channel video installation Pulso (Pulse) was made between 2016 and 2018. This important artwork was bought by the Pérez Art Museum Miami in Florida. It is being shown in the museum's collections display for 2024.
