Tania Park is right next to Dobroyd Head. From here, you get amazing views of Sydney Harbour. You can also see Middle Harbour and North Harbour. Because it's on a high spot, the park also has a radio transmitter. This transmitter is for the 90.3 2MWM radio station. You can hear this station all over northern and eastern Sydney!
Who Was Tania?
The park is named after a special person called Tania Verstak. She grew up right here in the local area. Tania became famous in 1962. That year, she won the Miss International beauty contest!
