Where Did the Taribelang People Live?
The Taribelang people lived on a large area of land, about 1,800 square miles (4,700 km2) in size. This land was located in central Queensland.
Their traditional country included the area around the city of Bundaberg. It stretched inland towards a place called Walla. To the north, their land reached as far as Baffle Creek.
They also lived along the lower parts of the Burrum River. This shows they had a deep connection to both the coast and inland areas.
