Tarisa Watanagase (Thai: ธาริษา วัฒนเกส; born November 30, 1949) is a very important person in Thailand's money world. She used to be the head of the Bank of Thailand from 2006 to 2010. This bank is like the country's main bank. She took over from Pridiyathorn Devakula. Tarisa Watanagase made history because she was the first woman to be the governor of the Bank of Thailand in its 64-year history!
