Early Life and Football Beginnings
Tarnee Tester grew up in Broken Hill, a town in Australia. She is part of the Indigenous Australian Barkindji people. Tarnee started playing Australian rules football in 2012. Her first team was West Broken Hill. To follow her dream of playing in the AFLW, she later moved to Perth.
AFLW Career Journey
Tarnee Tester joined the AFLW, which is Australia's top women's football league. She played for two different clubs during her time in the league.
Playing for West Coast
Tarnee Tester began her AFLW career with the West Coast Eagles. She was drafted by the team in 2019. She played her first game in Round 1 of the 2020 season. After playing four games and scoring one goal for West Coast, she was delisted by the club in August 2020.
Moving to Fremantle
After leaving West Coast, Tarnee Tester was quickly signed by the Fremantle Football Club. This happened in August 2020. She joined Fremantle as a delisted free agent. However, she did not play any games for Fremantle during the 2021 AFLW season. Following that season, she was delisted by Fremantle.
