Tatsuhiko Seta (born January 15, 1952) is a former Japanese football player. He was a talented goalkeeper who played for the Japan national team. His name in Japanese is 瀬田 龍彦.

Early Life and Club Career
Tatsuhiko Seta was born in Morioka, Japan. After finishing high school, he joined a football club called Hitachi in 1970. This was a big step for his football journey.
Winning Championships with Hitachi
Seta quickly became an important player for Hitachi. In 1972, his team had an amazing year. They won two major titles: the Japan Soccer League and the Emperor's Cup. These were big achievements for the club.
Hitachi continued their success. They also won the 1975 Emperor's Cup and the 1976 JSL Cup. Seta was a key part of these victories as their goalkeeper. He played in 164 league games during his time with the club. His excellent performance led to him being chosen for the "Best Eleven" team in both 1972 and 1976.
Retirement and Return
Seta first retired from playing in 1980. However, he returned to Hitachi in 1982 as a playing-coach. Even though he was a coach, he didn't play in any official matches during this second period. He officially retired from football again in 1986.
Playing for the Japan National Team
Tatsuhiko Seta also had a successful career playing for his country. In May 1973, he was chosen to join the Japan national team. His first game for Japan was on May 22, 1973, against Hong Kong during the 1974 World Cup qualification matches.
Key International Matches
Seta also represented Japan at the 1974 Asian Games. In 1976, he became the regular goalkeeper for the national team. He played in every match during the qualification rounds for the 1976 Summer Olympics.
His last game for Japan was in 1980, during the qualification matches for the 1980 Summer Olympics. Overall, Tatsuhiko Seta played 25 games for the Japan national team between 1973 and 1980.
