Tatsuya Yazawa (born October 3, 1984) is a Japanese football player. He is known for playing as a Midfielder. He has played for several clubs in Japan, including Kashiwa Reysol, JEF United Chiba, and FC Tokyo.

Tatsuya Yazawa's Football Journey

Tatsuya Yazawa was born in Yaizu, Shizuoka, on October 3, 1984. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career.

Early Career and Kashiwa Reysol

In 2003, Tatsuya joined Kashiwa Reysol, a club in the top Japanese league, J1 League. He often played as a substitute. In 2005, Kashiwa Reysol moved down to the second league, J2 League. However, Tatsuya became a regular player in 2006. His team then moved back up to J1 League the next year.

Moving to JEF United Chiba

In 2008, Tatsuya moved to JEF United Chiba. This team was a rival of his old club. He quickly became a key player there. But in 2009, JEF United Chiba also moved down to the J2 League.

Success with FC Tokyo

In 2011, Tatsuya joined FC Tokyo, which had also just moved to the J2 League. This was a great year for him and his new team! FC Tokyo won the J2 League championship in 2011. This meant they moved back up to the J1 League. They also won the Emperor's Cup in 2011, which is a big football tournament in Japan.

Return to JEF United Chiba and Later Clubs

In August 2012, Tatsuya went back to JEF United Chiba. He continued to be a regular player for them for several seasons. Later, in 2016, he moved to FC Machida Zelvia. He played many games for them over two years. In 2018, he joined SC Sagamihara. Then, in 2019, he moved to Fujieda MYFC, where he continues his career.

Playing for Japan's Youth Team

In November 2003, Tatsuya Yazawa was chosen to play for the Japan U-20 national team. This team played in the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship. This is a big tournament for young football players from around the world. Tatsuya played in all five matches for Japan in this championship.
