Starting His Career in Japan

Tatsuya Yazawa was born in Yaizu, Shizuoka, Japan. He started his football journey early. After finishing high school, he joined a professional football club called Kashiwa Reysol in 2003. This club played in the top Japanese league, the J1 League.

In his first season, Tatsuya played in many games. He often came in as a substitute player. He was an offensive midfielder, meaning he helped attack and score goals.

Moving Through the Leagues

In 2005, his team, Kashiwa Reysol, moved down to a lower league called the J2 League. This is called being "relegated." But Tatsuya worked hard. In 2006, he became a regular player, starting most games. His team then moved back up to the J1 League the next year. This is called being "promoted."
