Brytavious Lakeith Chambers, known as Tay Keith, is an American music producer. He helps create songs for many famous artists.
He is well-known for helping make Travis Scott's song "Sicko Mode" in 2018. This song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart! He also worked on Drake's "Nonstop" and BlocBoy JB's "Look Alive". These songs also became very popular. In 2023, his own song "Pound Town" was his first song to appear on the charts as the main artist.
Tay Keith earned his college degree from Middle Tennessee State University in December 2018. He was even nominated for a Best Rap Song Grammy Award for "Sicko Mode". He works with Warner Chappell Music and is a member of BMI.
Early life
Brytavious Lakeith Chambers was born in South Memphis, Tennessee, on September 20, 1996. He grew up there with his parents and knew from a young age that music was his special talent. He is the youngest of five children, with two older brothers and two older sisters.
When he was about 14 years old, he started making his own music. He would share his songs on websites like YouTube and DatPiff. He also had a piano and used it to create new songs and even remake popular ones. One song he remade was Lil Wayne's "Lollipop".
Around the same time, when he was 14, Keith met another American rapper named BlocBoy JB. This happened after Keith moved to Raleigh in North Memphis. The two quickly became friends and started making music together.
Career
Tay Keith began his professional music career in 2015. He started working with rapper Blac Youngsta on his mixtape.
In 2018, Tay Keith became very famous for his music production. He produced several hit songs for BlocBoy JB, including "Rover" (which later became "Rover 2.0" with 21 Savage), "Shoot", and "Look Alive" featuring Drake.
He also produced Drake's song "Nonstop" and Travis Scott's huge hit "Sicko Mode". Other notable songs he produced in 2018 include Eminem's "Not Alike" (featuring Royce da 5'9) and Lil Baby and Gunna's "Never Recover" (featuring Drake).
In 2019, Tay Keith produced a special bonus track called "Before I Let Go" for Beyoncé's album Homecoming: The Live Album. In 2020, he produced "Rain", a popular song by Aitch featuring AJ Tracey. He has continued to work with many top artists in the music industry.
Personal life
Tay Keith successfully graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2018. As of 2020, he lives in Atlanta.
