Ted Watkins (born in 1941 – died June 2, 1968) was a talented Canadian football player. He played as a wide receiver for two well-known teams: the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Ottawa Rough Riders. He achieved a major success by winning the Grey Cup with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1967.

Ted Watkins began his professional career in the Canadian Football League (CFL). From 1963 to 1966, he played for the Ottawa Rough Riders. He was a key player for the team during these years.
