Christian Joel Jones (born July 17, 1987), known as TeeFlii, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and music producer. He grew up in South Los Angeles, California. TeeFlii is famous for his 2014 song "24 Hours" which featured 2 Chainz. This song made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 music chart. He also helped write the song "Show Me" for rapper Kid Ink in 2014.

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

TeeFlii became interested in music when he was a child. He spent a lot of time at his grandfather's church, where his grandfather was a pastor. He was fascinated by the keyboards and how much the organ players were paid.

He learned to play many instruments at church. These included the organ, piano, guitar, and drums. He even played drums for famous singer Barbra Streisand at a special event. Music helped bring order and calm to his life.

Dancing and Finding His Stage Name

As a teenager, TeeFlii started dancing. He was especially good at a style called krumping. He performed under the name Baby Tight Eyez. He even appeared in some early Chris Brown music videos. TeeFlii also had a big role in the 2005 documentary film Rize. This movie was about the krumping dance scene in Los Angeles.

After the film, TeeFlii started writing songs for others. He found that writing helped him express himself. He also saw a chance to have a more stable life through music. This pushed him to become an artist himself.

His stage name, TeeFlii, comes from his dancing background. He explained that "Baby Tight Eyez" was his name in the Rize movie. He later wanted his own unique name. He was also inspired by a choreographer named Flii Stylz. This person worked with artists like Chris Brown and Usher. TeeFlii combined parts of these influences to create his stage name.
