More recently, in October and November 2022, two Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: Legion of Bats! comics were published.

Tee Franklin sees Harley Quinn as an anti-hero. This means Harley Quinn is a character who is not completely good or bad. Franklin believes Harley Quinn is a symbol for people who have overcome tough situations. She also thinks Harley Quinn might have ADHD. Tee Franklin got ideas for Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour from the 1991 movie Thelma and Louise.

Franklin has also mentioned that she wrote Poison Ivy as autistic. However, she thought DC Comics might not want this mentioned in the comics.

Sun-Spider in Edge of Spider-Verse

Sun-Spider also made a brief appearance in the 2023 movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. She was voiced by Danielle Perez in the movie.
