Tonya Slacanin, born on March 28, 1968, is a famous retired volleyball player from the United States. She was also known as "Teee" Williams or "Teee" Sanders during her career. Tonya won a bronze medal with the USA National Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. She also played in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, where her team finished seventh.
Among her many achievements, Tonya helped the national team win a silver medal at the 1995 Pan American Games in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

College Volleyball Career
Tonya Slacanin played college volleyball for the Hawaii Rainbow Wahine volleyball team. She was a key player when Hawaii won the national championship in 1987.
Awards and Records
Tonya was recognized as an AVCA first-team All-American three times. This means she was one of the best college players in the country. She was also named the National Player of the Year in both 1987 and 1989.
She set an amazing record for the most attacks in a single match with 99. This happened against Cal Poly on December 8, 1989. In the same season, Tonya also set a school record with 44 kills in a match against UC Santa Barbara.
In 1998, Tonya Slacanin was honored by being added to the University of Hawaii Sports Circle of Honor. This special group celebrates athletes who have achieved great things.
Playing Internationally
After college, Tonya Slacanin played volleyball in other countries. From 1992 to 1993, she played for Orion Sesto San Giovanni Milano in Italy. Later, from 1996 to 1998, she played for PVF Parmalat Matera, also in Italy.
European Success
Tonya won the European "CEV-Cup" in 1994 with the German team USC Münster. She also helped USC Münster win the national Championship and Cup title in Germany in 2004.
Beach Volleyball Achievements
Tonya Slacanin also played beach volleyball. In 2003, she won a German beach volleyball tournament. Her partner for this win was Ines Pianka.
Personal Life and Name Changes
While playing college volleyball at the University of Hawaii, Tonya Williams married. Her name then became Teee Williams-Sanders. Later, she changed her name back to Williams. She has since remarried and is now known as Tonya Slacanin.
