Tellis Joseph Frank Jr. (born on April 26, 1965) is an American former professional basketball player. He also worked as an assistant coach for the Atlanta Dream in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Tellis Frank played as a power forward. He was 6 feet 8.5 inches (2.08 meters) tall and weighed 225 pounds (102 kg).

Early Basketball Journey
Tellis Frank graduated from Lew Wallace High School in Gary, Indiana, in 1983. He then went on to play college basketball for Western Kentucky University. He played there from 1983 to 1987.
College Success
During his time at Western Kentucky, Frank was a very important player. He helped the basketball team become strong again. He led them to win their first ever Sun Belt Conference basketball championship. The team also reached a top ten national ranking. They finished second in the pre-season NIT tournament. Tellis Frank also helped his team get into the NCAA tournament two years in a row.
Professional Basketball Career
Tellis Frank was chosen by the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 1987 NBA draft. He was the 14th player picked overall.
Playing in the NBA
Frank played in the NBA for five years. He played for the Golden State Warriors from 1987 to 1989. Then he joined the Miami Heat from 1989 to 1990. Later, he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves in two different periods (1991–1992 and 1993–1994). During his NBA career, he scored an average of 6.5 points per game. In 1995, he briefly signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he did not play in any games for them.
Playing Overseas
After his time in the NBA, Tellis Frank played basketball in other countries. He played in Italy for a team called Phonola Caserta from 1990 to 1993. His team even won the Italian league championship in 1991. He also played for other Italian teams like Scandone Avellino (1998–1999), Basket Livorno (1999–2000), and Longobardi Scafati (2000–2001).
He also played in Spain's top league, the Liga ACB. He played for three different Spanish teams over three years.
