Tess Coady's Snowboarding Journey

Tess Coady was born in Melbourne on November 2, 2000. She grew up in St. Kilda, Victoria. Tess started snowboarding with her brothers and sisters on weekends and during holidays. She loved it so much that she began competing when she was 14 years old.

Early Competitions

In 2017, Tess took part in the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2017 in Spain. She competed in both the big air and slopestyle events. These were big steps in her young career.

The 2018 Winter Olympics

Tess was chosen to represent Australia at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. She was only 17 years old, making her the youngest athlete on Australia's team! She was ready to compete in the slopestyle event. However, she got hurt during a practice run and had to miss the competition. It was a tough moment, but Tess worked hard to recover.
