Why Beijing Won
Beijing was picked to host the games in the summer of 2015. One big reason was that Beijing had already successfully hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics. This meant they had a lot of experience and many of the facilities needed. They also promised to make the games exciting and memorable for everyone.
About the Games
The 2022 Winter Olympics featured 109 events across 7 different sports. These sports included exciting activities like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and bobsleigh. Athletes from 95 different countries came together to compete and show off their amazing skills.
