About the Show
This show is all about a talking tooth named Timmy and his friends. They live in a place called Flossmore Valley. Timmy and his friends go on many exciting adventures. They often use their imaginations to explore new worlds.
Timmy usually has to stop bad guys from causing trouble. These villains include the Cavity Goon and Miss Sweetie. There's also the Gingivitis Gang, who love to make mischief.
The show was created by talented puppeteers. These include James Murray, Dina Fraboni, and Kevin Carlson. Phil Baron also helped write the episodes. The characters were designed by Drew Massey and Bob Fappiano. The puppets themselves were built by Bob Fappiano and Christine Papelexis. The catchy music was composed by Giovanna Joyce Imbesi. She also wrote the songs with Willow Wray.
Meet the Characters
The show features many unique characters. Here are some of the main ones you'll meet:
Main Characters
- Timothy "Timmy" the Tooth (played by Kevin Carlson) – He's the main hero of the show. Timmy is an adventurous tooth. He lives with his best friend, Brushbrush. Timmy loves to sing!
- Brushbrush (played by Todd Mattox) – This is Timmy's pet toothbrush. Brushbrush acts a lot like a dog. He makes whispering or bristling sounds. Only Timmy can understand what he's saying. Brushbrush wears a collar and sometimes growls. He also likes to tickle Timmy by licking his face.
- Bubbles Gum (played by Cheryl Blaylock) – Bubbles is Timmy's blue-skinned friend. She is always ready for an adventure. Bubbles often takes charge. She usually calls Timmy by his full name.
- Miss Flossie (played by Michael Earl) – Miss Flossie is a fun-loving character. She's a bit like a cowgirl. Despite her name, she looks like a blob.
- Waxie – This is Flossie's special hobby horse. Waxie is a unicorn-like toy. She is very funny, especially when she tries to eat flowers!
- Sidney Cyclops (played by Bruce Lanoil) – Sidney is a one-eyed monster and Timmy's friend. He dreams of becoming the best paper boy ever. Sidney is younger than Timmy. He looks up to Timmy as his best friend. He even starred in his own episode called "An Eye for a Tooth."
- Annette Bruner Prower (played by Christine Papelexis) – Annette is Timmy's yellow-skinned friend. She can be a bit silly. But she is always there for her friends.
- Johnny Paste (played by Allan Trautman) – Johnny is a big, strong tube of toothpaste. He is another one of Timmy's friends. He means well, but he's not always the smartest.
- Mr. Wisdom (played by Phil Baron) - He is an old wisdom tooth. Mr. Wisdom lives on Wisdom Mountain. He gives good advice to Timmy and his friends when they need help.

- Sherry the Fairy (played by Allan Trautman) – An older fairy who tells fortunes.
- Gil the Grouper (played by Allan Trautman) – A green fish with a big grin.
- Sunny the Sun (played by Allan Trautman, and Phil Baron in one episode) – A happy sun that wears sunglasses.
- Leggs O'Many (played by Todd Mattox) – A cool octopus who plays the piano.
- Nicki and Irene (played by Christine Papelexis and Dina Fraboni) – Two flowers in Timmy's front yard. They love rain and being watered.
- Emmett (played by Greg Ballora) – Timmy's mailbox.
- Thirstin and Windslow (played by Michael Earl and Kevin Carlson) – Two clouds.
Villains
- The Cavity Goon (played by James Murray) – He is the main bad guy. The Cavity Goon is a gross green creature. He is covered in spots and has many decayed sharp teeth. He wears clothes made of ripped leaves. He is always bothering Timmy and his friends. In one episode, he even tried to kidnap Timmy!
- Miss Sweety (played by Bruce Lanoil) – She is the Cavity Goon's helper. Miss Sweety is a huge peppermint candy on a stick. She always helps her boss with his evil plans.
- The Gingivitis Gang – This is a group of creatures who are also bad guys. They are mean and always looking for trouble. They often bother Timmy and his friends. But sometimes, they actually help Timmy out!
- Leo (played by Allan Trautman) – He is the red-horned, lavender-haired, blue-skinned leader of the Gingivitis Gang.
- Kay (played by Dina Fraboni) – A bird-like member of the gang with pumpkin skin and red hair.
- Dee (played by Cheryl Blaylock) – A blonde-haired, pinkish-orange-skinned, insect-like female member.
- Darol (played by Kevin Carlson) – The blue-haired, green-skinned member.
- Nolan (played by Phil Baron) – The rose-colored, yellow-haired, hook-nosed, and green-horned member.

- Timmy in Space (January 31, 1994) – Timmy imagines he and Brushbrush are astronauts. They go to planet Shmengee to free a space station from the Cavity Goon and Miss Sweetie.
- Operation: Secret Birthday Surprise (January 31, 1994) – Timmy gets ready for his birthday party. His friends are planning a secret surprise! Mr. Wisdom shows Timmy what Flossmore Valley would be like without him.
- Molar Island (January 31, 1994) – Timmy dreams of a vacation to Molar Island. He helps the islanders when the Gingivitis Tribe steals King Cuspid's ancient crown. The island will sink if it's not returned!
- Malibu Timmy (May 12, 1994) – Timmy and his friends go to the beach. But Timmy and Waxie can't swim! Timmy imagines himself as a lifeguard. His friends compete in a surfing contest against Goon Doggy.
- Lost My Brush (May 12, 1994) – The Cavity Goon and Miss Sweety try to get rid of Timmy and Brushbrush. They capture Brushbrush to lure Timmy. They want to hand Timmy over to the Tooth Fairy for money!
- Spooky Tooth (May 12, 1994) – Timmy, Brushbrush, and Bubbles go to the desert. They enter the Uncommon Pyramids. There, they help Mumfred the Mummy find his parents.
- The Brush in the Stone (January 30, 1994) – Timmy gets the "Itchy Polka Dots" on the day of the Flossmore Valley Fair. Mr. Wisdom reads Timmy a medieval story. It's about how the Itchy Polka Dots started. Squire Timmy goes on a quest to find polka berries to cure King Louie. He meets Merlys the Magician, Bubbles Hood, the Gingivitis Gang, and the Cavity Goon and Miss Sweetie.
- An Eye for a Tooth (January 30, 1994) – Sidney Cyclops wants to be the best paper boy. But he can't see well! Timmy, Brushbrush, and Bubbles help Sidney improve his sight.
- Rainy Day Adventure (January 30, 1994) – On a rainy day, Timmy imagines he is Captain Good Guy. Brushbrush is his first mate. They work to save Sunny the Sun from pirate versions of Cavity Goon and Miss Sweetie.
- Big Mouth Gulch (September 10, 1994) – Timmy reads his friends a western story. Sheriff Timmy deals with outlaws Goony the Kid and Miss Sweetie in Big Mouth Gulch.

The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth first aired in syndication from January 16 to 31, 1995. Later, it was shown on Nickelodeon as part of the Nick Jr. block. It aired there from November 6, 1995, to May 17, 1996.
